Choosing not to emotionally attach yourself to every outside circumstance does not mean you lack empathy. It means you're being intentional with where you place your energy, attention, and emotional bandwidth.

We dive into the difference between caring deeply and carrying everything. How constant emotional reactivity can drain you. And why learning to detach from what you can't control is often the healthiest move you can make.

We had a real conversation around sobriety versus recovery and why those two things are not the same even though people use them interchangeably. This one always opens up some nuance and perspective.
