Episode 912: Uncut & Unsigned June 10 Dusken Lights

Tue, 10 Jun 2025

Part 1: Join Tony and Shippa as they head off into the sunset, as the Dusken Lights take over the airways. Chatting to Paul Watling from the band Dusken Lights, we discover his story, the band’s genesis, and the myriad of Oz rock royalty that he has played as a support to over the years. Is it Folk, is it Soft Rock, is it a genre of it's own? You’ll get to hear their latest single, plus as a bonus, you’ll get to hear an unreleased track, due to be released at the time of airing! How much awesomeness is that?!!!

Part 2: Tony and Shippa discuss new and old tracks from current Indie Artists, former Indie Artists and a classic or two. On this podcast, we introduce The Stems (Perth), Jeanines (New York), Clean Beast (Melbourne), Karly Jewell (Melbourne), William Street Strikers (Adelaide), Keith David (Melbourne), Florist (Brooklyn, NY), Spacey Jane (Perth), Four Lions (Bendigo) and Spy Fox Six (Melbourne), with Shippa’s Surprise being a band from Manchester with a very Australian name!

Episode 917: Eclectic Avenue 250604 Breathe more deeply

Thu, 05 Jun 2025

Sandy, Bernie and Michael focus on the theme of 'breathe more deeply'; as it turns out a timely theme (as will become evidence during the show).  Sandy loosely focuses on inhaling and exhaling, Bernie provides an anatomy and physiology lesson, and Michael explores a purpose and outcome of breathing more deeply.  Our theme for our next show is "You are an engineer".  Enjoy.
